didn't workThe original microphone design snapped in half from normal wear and tear and the replacement mic that we ordered didn't fully fit properly into the AG9+ and would not pass audio from Microphone into headset. The plastic grommet next to the microphone jack itself that's designed to fit into the female receiver of the headset is loose and doesn't feel secure as if the microphone could fall out at any given moment. (The microphone doesn't fit securely into the headset either) (And does not pass audio). See Case# 2219702

5 years not 1 issueI have had my AG 9 headset for xbox 1 for almost 5 years and not once had any issues. I have had other brands 3 or 4 turtle beachs tritons even had a $300 pair of astro a50s and although the astros had amazing sound quality they werent wireless. All except the AG 9 I had issues with and had to buy new ones or return them thank god for best buy warranties. My daughter lost the wireless adapter and when I called customer service not only was David the rep. Extremely friendly and helpful he immediately sent me a link to order the piece and a $10 coupon because he was impressed I had the box and receipt since 2014. Thanks again David and PDP/afterglow

Pdp pls replace our mics with the old 1s that fitI wonder... As a company, how could you allow a mistake like this to occur....... repeatedly? The AG9+ replacement gooseneck microphone does NOT fit the AG9+ headset!! THERE IS REVIEW AFTER REVIEW DESCRIBING THE SAME ISSUES. You've sent out the wrong replacement part to god knows how many people :-O... I ordered one before, a basic mic,
which was just like the original. I like the new design because the flexible neck would prevent it from snapping off like it had with the original.... HOWEVER IT DOESN'T FIT PROPERLY WHICH MEANS YOU CANT USE IT WHICH MEANS ITS DEFECTIVE

Needs workI am happy with the headset I purchase but the microphones I am not happy with. They seem to stop working after a few months. The connection to the the head phones becomes a problem. I continuously have the manipulate the mic connection to have it work properly. People say they can hear me clearly when it does work but the takes some effort. I have complained to your company about this issue and only got more products thrown at me. I just purchased your new goose neck mic and still have the problem. The connection seems to not be right and I have to move the mic arround many times to get it to work. Very frustrating

Great replacement USB transmitterLost my old transmitter for my old AG9 xbox one headphones. Bought a new transmitter and paired quickly with my old headset. Only left side speaker worked though. Tried plugging in a headphone cable to the headset and controller, that didn't work getting sound in both speakers. Found out the headphones will work if I use a NEW xbox one controller. If I use the original controller that came with my xbox, only one speaker works. So, if you only have sound in one speaker, try a new xbox controller, repair the headset, and enjoy. It’s okay...I bought this and thought it was defective when it arrived, but I think it just needed to be flexed a little in different directions. It had this stutter noise when I first got it, and me moving or walking in the slightest made it awful. It works fine now, with the occasional bzzzt noise from the mic moving (like if your waking around with the headphones on.), but it’s no where near as bad as when I had originally gotten it. Overall it works now, but it seemed like it needed almost a break-in period. I wish they had it so I could’ve ordered the same kind of mic that came with the headset, that just worked way better. (My kid broke the original) Customer Service told me it couldn’t be ordered without getting a whole other pair of headphones.

Doesn’t workI purchased a new replacement microphone for my sons AG9+ Wireless headset only to discover that it doesn’t fit. I ensured that I ordered the correct replacement but it didn’t fit as snugly nor did it function.
I email customer support and the assured me that it was the correct one and that I should try it again. Once again i tried with no better result. It still didn’t function. I again emailed the customer support rep and have not heard from them since.
I’m very disappointed in the service of such a prominent company...very discouraging

3rd one.The first one that I had that came with it had stopped connecting. The second one started doing the same. The transmitters themselves work fine and are easy to get working, but they can't handle being taken out and put back in too much or they start getting loose and don't fit correctly in usb ports. I'm tired of having to order them. When they start acting up, I have to pull them up and tape them down just to get them working and if they're bumped, there's no guarantee they'll work again and I end up bending them to heII to get it to work or end up having to throw it away. They should lower the price with how many times they've gotta be replaced; it's a shame we've gotta pay to replace them anyway.
