Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic! This controller is light, durable, and it has great features. The control stick is perfect for quick movement and feels identical to a traditional Gamecube controller. It has a extra long cord so you don't have to sit right up on the tv. I really like this as kids love to play so close as it is. The c stick is interchangeable with the regular sized analog stick, or the default c stick style, which is a nice touch. My kids and I are very satisfied with this controller and I will be buying 2 more so we can all have our own to play with.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Feels like a GC controller, but has a flaw I bought the controller to specifically play it with Smash Ult., but as I noticed that the Up button on the d-pad randomly gets inputted as I move the left joystick around. I then tried to put a USB dongle to see if that would do anything and now I see that no random buttons are being inputted. If you're planning on buying this controller, be weary as you may be in the heat of a smash match and then you will hit a button that you didn't mean to press and lose the match because of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected! Before I bought it, I was worried that it would have problems like people mentioned with the analog sticks randomly pressing other buttons. Luckily, that isn't true. I tested the controller for hours, and not a single sign of buttons being pressed. It seems like it's an issue with people not fully plugging in the usb cable, which causes a poor connection. Another issue that people had were sticks getting stuck. To fix that, just push the stick down(where it's supposed to be) and it never gets stuck. The interchangeable C stick is an interesting option, but I chose to change it to two full sticks. Pretty awesome overall, and it works great, all things considered. For 25 bucks, it's a steal if you're into Smash Ultimate or Mario Kart 8.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Product, Even Worse Company I bought two of these controllers about a month ago (one was Link themed, the other was Pikachu) and both of them have crapped out on me. The C-Stick on the Pikachu one is busted and unresponsive. The ZR button on the other one is jammed with no way to depress the button. The plastic is extremely cheap and doesn't feel nice in your hands at all. Also, it's supposed to look and feel like a gamecube controller, but there's an L3 and R3? (i.e. you can click both analogs sticks in for some reason). It's actually impressive how PDP can get away with selling such bogus, unresponsive, non-working products and not be going out of business by now. I will not be buying this or any other PDP product ever again because of how horrendous the quality and feel of everything is.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great controller, but the adaptor problem There are other reviews about this problem and its true. If a gamecube controller adaptor is plugged in when you're using this controller then it will put in random inputs that will mess you up severely and make it unfun to play competitively and even casually. I only leave this review because I really hope they fix this problem for the new controllers, I have the mario one and preordered the jigglypuff one without thinking. PLEASE DON'T LET IT COME WITH THE SAME BUG I'LL BE SO SAD

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Awesome Mario controller This is a great product it works well it's comfortable for gaming like smash bros. (obviously) and mario kart 8 this is a great pro controller alternative for those who don't have $70 dollars to spend but have the money for this if you had a wireless one i would snatch it up

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This controller has great features I'm so happy I got a chance to review this, my older son said the controller is easy to handle, the buttons are smooth, definitely worth buying for, great gift idea. I wish it was wireless, thanks for giving me the opportunity to letting me know review your product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great old school style My small kids like to play the switch, but we don’t yet trust them to hold the switch out of its base. That’s why we wanted a controller. We love the old school style and shape of this, and my kids love sonic the hedgehog. It’s obviously a classic choice for us adults as well. It feels good in the hand and all the buttons are placed well and ergonomically. I love that the cord is incredibly long, that way there’s less of a chance that someone will trip over it or it’ll get yanked and pull the system down. It’s a smooth user experience and everything worked perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features! After receiving this product I was eager to try it! I have owned a switch for a few years and gaming has always been a little difficult with the controls! Not anymore! With this controller I am able to maneuver around the games with ease! It is designed just like the old n64 controllers so it is easy to grip and the buttons are large! I loved it and so did my kids! The sonic design was bright and vibrant and gave it a nice retro look! Even though it is wired there was enough cord to be able to sit comfortably and still use it! Fantastic product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the best I was contemplating a lot of choices for playing Smash Ultimate, and after several review videos on controllers I finally settled with PDP. And I couldn't be happier! Its a near perfect replica of the classic Gamecube Controller with the additional support for the switch. With the (-) and (+) buttons, the home button, the nearly 10ft usb cable and the multi-purpose (C-stick/Right Stick), you can't go wrong with this controller. Everything feels right, especially with Smash Ultimate, and I know this controller can quickly fit in with other popular Switch games. I highly recommend this controller. The only down side is: if you plan on having multiple people playing, a game like Smash Ultimate, you may want to invest in a USB splitter port, depending on how many controllers you want to add. Other than that, these controllers are perfect for 1v1s!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nostalgia on the switch! This is a great nostalgic wired gamepad featuring sonic. It's well made and sturdy, it fits in the hands nicely. All buttons feel nice to press, the yellow +- screenshot and home buttons all give a nice click when pressed (the home button lights up when plugged in to a USB source). The gamepad feels responsive on all games I have played using this pad, the joysticks are interchangeable, they can be a little tricky to replace with the included yellow C nub. They are responsive and have added a bit of speed to my style in smash bros. Overall, a great gamepad to own, it's wired so response time is really nice, the button layout is easy to hey used to again and it feels good in the hands and it had improved my gameplay in certain games vs the joy cons!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Brilliant Pad with Some issues This controller is fine for Smash. People have no idea. It's the gamecube adapter itself that causes issues. We swapped to 2 of these instead and for 100s of hrs have had no phantom inputs. The pads are responsive and are great especially with the home and capture buttons. I have had to replace one however and too much mashing made the replaceble stick crack the connecting shell. I love the idea of replacable sticks at first but now I think it would be better with a basic gamecube stick placement permanently. It would also be good to be able to aquire replacement rubber membranes as on the old pad I had also split the A button, making it feel mushy. Overall great for general gameplay and great for smash but be very careful when abusing them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY: left joystick inputs A (attacks) I bought 2 of these and they both have the same issue in Smash Ultimate: moving around with the left joystick will send out attacks sometimes. This makes the controller unusable. Very disappointed. I suspect it is because the controller is poorly made, and thus the inputs are mapped too closely together. Do not waste your money on this controller.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not able to be used for competitive play Where to begin? I was at a weekly tournament today, when I noticed that my cahracter was doing some random attacks. I was wondering why this was happening, and then went on to the site, and saw the post written by someone else. And yes, I can confirm that it is a bug and a glitch that needs to be sorted out immediatley. What bug? Basically, if there is a GC adapter plugged into the switch at the same time, your controller will send and 'A' input every so often. If you are looking for this for competitive play, DON'T BUY IT

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sonic Remote lover! This is not only a functioning remote, but its also, by far the best colored and featured one i have ever seen. Its put together so nicely, and its beyond perfect for Sonic. I love the color scheme, it really takes me back to the orginial sonic days. Its put together very nicely, so it feels great in my hands. im very comfortable with the feel of it. The length of the wired part is awesome, it reaches comfortably to my couch. Which i love! Its spot on, and the absolut best remote for Sonic ever. Its beyond awesome!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mis imputs This controller will randomly input button presses through the control stick. Making it borderline useless as when trying to move you will attack

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for an old school feel. My 6-year old is obsessed with all old school games & characters but especially Sonic. When I gave this to him the look on his face was absolutely priceless. It has a super long cord so you don't have to be sitting right up on the game system to use it. The C stick can be switched out to a full size knob like the gray one on the left side of the controller if your prefer a larger knob. So far this has worked on every game he plays on his switch and have had no issues with it. It is very well made and does not feel cheaply made like other controllers we have used. My son absolutely loves the Sonic photo that's on the controller. I prefer using this when playing the switch because I'm a fan of the old school style controllers. Like it better than the wireless ones that come with the switch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such A Fun Looking Control I just love the look of this control! I love everything Mario, so when I saw this control I had to have it! It's a great quality control. I believe it was made to look like the Game Cube controller. I had one when I was a kid and it was my favorite control out of all the Nintendo controls. All the buttons work well and are very responsive. The control itself is very comfortable and I can play a game for hours at a time. Overall, a solid product for a great price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome!!! I received this controller complimentary for my honest and opinion. The kids used this extra controller on the Game Cube. We really enjoyed ourselves. This controller is light, durable, and it has great features. This flight pro controller definitely seemed to enhance my kids performances on the game. We played Street Fighter and it has now become a family favorite. Thanks to our new flight pro Nintendo Switch controller.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A very soild controller. Just picked this up at GameStop and I can say that it feels great! It feels a little thicker than a normal GameCube controller, which I like, and it even has a home button and picture button so that it's more functional to use on the Switch. I'm a little disappointed that it does not have motion control, sense motion control is actually really good on the Switch and I prefer it for camera control in games, or an amiibo reader. The controller is still really good for the price, $25, though I would gladly pay $50 or $60 if it did have full functionality; I would replace my pro-controller with a GameCube controller if it was fully functional. My only real complaint towards this product, a very small complaint, is that the top buttons are not the same as a GameCube controller. The original GameCube controller had L and R triggers that were super curved and your fingers could rest in them, but this controller's ZL and ZR triggers (same as from the original) are much less curved and I feel like my fingers could slip off of them. Overall, this is a really great controller! Would recommend! IGN 9.5/10 (I'm not actually associated with IGN and I don't think they review accessories (tis a joke)). This will definitely be my go to controller.....for games that don't have motion control or ammibo support.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brings me back! So, I just got this Nintendo Switch wired Fight Pad Pro controller and I couldn't wait to try it out. This brings me back to the game cube era. I didn't miss a beat with the controller or buttons. I love that the cord is 10ft long, so I can sit comfortably on my couch and still have room to play. Another great feature to this is that it is the Pokemon edition. If you loved your gamecube, this will definitely take you back! I would and will recommend this to anyone!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but not enough This controller is my favorite, but still have bad things, first, if if you change constantly the right thumbstick, starts to fall down, the d pad is way too tiny, for me at least, the back triggers have less travel time, is not an issue, but is not like a classic gamecube controller, but i like that is conected by an usb port instead of buying an extra adaptor

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun Controller! My grandson and my husband were thrilled to try the Pikacho Wired Nintendo Switch Controller. It was easy to work and fun to look at.My husband liked the little joystick addition that you could add on. They both didn't mind that it was a wired controller. We will be getting another one when available.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Randomly Presses Up on the D-Pad I bought this at GameStop on the 14th of February and when I went to use it to play Smash Ult, I noticed that I was doing inputs that I didn't intend. I loaded up Xenoblade 2 and figured out that moving either/both the the sticks can and will press Up on the D-Pad. Nothing I do will make this stop. I have not returned this yet just to see if the problem continues to persist. The controller makes Smash Ult unplayable competitively, and Xenoblade 2 is a chore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Cool! I love with the Mario wired fight pad for the Nintendo Switch. It feels smooth and has a good amount of weight to it. The joystick glides easily. I got the hang of where all the buttons were. Easy to use with the nintendo switch.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A good controller, when it works I bought this controller a few months ago and I’ve gotten really good with it. The only problem is that the C stick sometimes gets stuck When playing, making the controller hard to use in both casual and competitive play.
