I thought that I was supposed to get Blue-Merang which was probably my favorite color choice but I received Pineapple Pop instead which unfortunately was my least favorite color. Color aside this controller has a detachable 8 ft cord so it is wired not wireless. It is also very lightweight compared to other Nintendo Switch controllers that we have at home. It functions just fine though, I had no problems playing with it and it is officially licensed by Nintendo which is a plus. The design of the controller is see through which is actually really cool looking. I just played some Super Smash bros with it and I had no problem kicking butt. Overall a great addition to our gaming collection.

What I like about it the most is the transparent shell of the controller, the color scheme and how saturated they are and of course, the Bowser in the bottom right-hand corner. The buttons are a little firm yet soft when you press on them and the controller in itself is a bit smaller than your regular wireless pro controller (I personally have "small" hands for a guy so it fits perfectly in them) It's not a wireless controller but it does have a detachable cable, and a long one at that, which I truly appreciate. All in all I love it and it's by far the best lil' controller I've ever purchased!

Controller is noticeably smaller but there is something cute and fun about it. With gamers like me with smaller hands this is perfectly fine. I love the atomic purple look and vibe. Functions incredible well, super smooth joystick and great quality feel to buttons.

You can see the electronic innards, circuit board, and switches inside which give it a very tech'y feel. The controller is compact and ergonomic, it fits the hand well and is comfortable for long gaming sessions. The buttons are crisp and responsive, no mushy buttons here. The thumb sticks are positioned well and the concave top helps with grip and use. The build quality is solid, the plastic is thick and doesn't flex at all. The included USB cable is 8ft long which is a good versatile length that's not too short or long. The plug is molded to fit in snugly with no play or wiggling. This is a great controller that you should consider.

The one thing that we missed while playing was an actual controller, so we were elated with this Rock Candy Wired Controller for our NS. She has on the smaller size hands, and my hands are the opposite in size. However, we both feel comfortable in handling the thumb sticks and shoulder buttons. We thought maybe we’d feel a bit of lag with it being corded (included with the controller), but alas, our fears were allayed. Love the look of the body of this controller with its frost white yet clear shell. Nice compact size for us to travel with or simply sit on the couch passing time playing on our NS.

Rated 4 out of 5 by austin_c from A Solid Budget Friendly Pro Controller Replacement This controller serves as a solid replacement for the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. It's wired, so you never have to charge it, but the cable isn't super long if you're playing in a bigger space, so keep that in mind! Now it's not the same size as a pro controller; it's a bit smaller on the side grips. While that might be perfect for you if you're getting this for your child or if you have smaller hands, I found it somewhat hard to use for an extended period of time since I have relatively large hands. I love that you can detach the cable if you're not using the controller. That makes storage pretty simple. If you're in the market for a switch controller, it gets my recommendation!

I was able to play Elder Scrolls Online, Divinity Original Sin 2, Mass Effect, Fallout 4, and Skyrim without much trouble, but other games like Dark Souls 2 and Overwatch did not recognize it. The controller looks great. However, after about 3 months of use, I've started experiencing dead zones on the left stick. If I push it too far forward, my character stops moving. I'm not too upset, it was only $20 after all. It's fine for the price and held me over until I could get a better quality controller.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Brooke from Such a pretty controller - love it! I have never gotten a Rock Candy controller, so I was really excited to try one out for the Switch. Since the Switch has such tiny controllers I figured for some of the more intensive games (Harvest Moon mainly), I could use a larger controller that was easier to grasp. This controller did not disappoint! Not only is it a great color, but it also fits great in my hands. I find that some controllers are too big, but this one fits perfectly. I love the look and feel and the way the buttons press. It's got an excellent grip on it, and there's no lag time while playing. It also just feels really nice in your hands as the controller is very smooth. Overall, I'm so happy with this controller and would definitely recommend it if you play a lot of Switch games.
