I bought these to get more comfy and secure grip while playing, but the design seems to be first and foremost for playing with one joy-con hold sideways, it doesn't offer more comfort while playing handheld mode or tabletop/docked with two joy-cons hold straight. Its too bad really, I really enjoy the semi-soft feel of the material, makes my joy-cons feel more quality that I prefer over soft Joy-Con gel guards. These would be great if they had more bulk at the botton part to relax the fingers on, wich would prevent cramps when playing handheld, wich is Switch biggest problem.
