Can you believe it? The first TMNT movie was released in 1990, making it 28 years old today!

When the film was first released, it reached #1 at the box office and was a huge success. Featuring live-action versions of everyone’s favorite turtle brothers—Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo—the movie was originally based on popular comic book characters that spawned a cartoon series in 1987.
