What’s your favorite product you worked on at PDP?
The opportunity to lead development for PDP’s line of Nintendo Switch accessories has been a huge privilege. There’s no bigger thrill than to work with a brand which had such a profound impact on your childhood!
Do you travel for your job?
Yes! I get to visit our friends at Nintendo HQ outside of Seattle and regularly travel to China to help bring our products through the final design and manufacturing process.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
Working with the PDP team and factory partners in China. I get an incredible sense of accomplishment and growth every time I have the opportunity to work there.
What strengths do you think you bring to your job?
I come to video gaming from the toy industry with a background in design, so I bring a unique perspective to PDP’s business. Innovative features and twists on the traditional are things I try and imbue into every product I work on.
What’s the hardest part of your job?
Incredibly tight schedules are a simple fact of our industry. Opportunities arise quickly, and it takes an immediate and cohesive response in order to capitalize on them.

Hours of playing fighting games with friends. Our favorites were Mortal Kombat 3, Tekken 2 and Killer Instinct.
First video game you ever loved?
I’ll be dating myself here, but the first game I remember playing for hours on end is Moon Patrol on the Atari 2600. I loved the physics of the car jumping over craters as I mashed away firing at the oncoming spaceships.
As a gamer, the next big thing will be…..
The proliferation of “Path to Pro” in eSports titles like Overwatch.
What is next advancement in gaming you are excited about?
The continued innovations of Augmented Reality. I’m very eager to get my hands on the Magic Leap goggles!
