I am excited for Kinect, but then again I think most people are. It’s a great step in the evolution of video games which greatly affects the way we play. The thought of controller free gaming is very entertaining tome. However, the thought of where and how I am going to set the Kinect up in my house is what is truly frightening.

Recently we announced some easy solutions for your Kinect device setup. Whether you have a small place or an out of reach outlet there is a solution for any dilemma. Wall mounted televisions might have it harder considering there isn’t a whole lot of room to mount a Kinect device on top of the TV. This is where the Kinect “Wall Mount” comes in and makes it easy for a place that doesn’t have a lot of space with a mounted TV. If your TV isn’t wall mounted, but your still short on space the Kinect “TV Mount” is a perfect alternative.

If floor space isn’t a problem you might want to consider checking out the Kinect “Floor Stand”. It’s a simple tripod design which will keep your Kinect off the floor and free from dirt. Don’t forget, if your Xbox360 is just a little to far from your TV, you can always get a Kinect “Extension Cable” to improve your Kinect experience. All of these mounting solutions are officially licensed by Microsoft.

The floor stand is not adjustable, the Kinect sensor can be tilted however. Hope that helps!

When is the TV mount going to be released? Amazon says Nov 1st. but Gamestop and Barnes and Noble say Oct 15th. ...Also, if I use the tv mount are there going to be any issues with the Kinects usb cord not being long enough to reach the Xbox in a normal situation?
