We
just launched our shiny new product line here at PDP. For the past few
weeks I have been teasing the products via my TwitPic and Flickr
accounts trying to give you guys the heads up on the new line. After the
weird long exposure photos and the many guesses as to what it is we
were working on the wait is finally over.
Yesterday the Afterglow line was released with much enthusiasm. IGN
had the exclusive and from then on it was mayhem, rioting in the
streets and... Well maybe only in gaming journalism (and in my inbox).
If you have not seen it yet, take a look at
IGN's coverage ..
To tell you a little bit about the controllers, the AFTERGLOW line
is available for the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii consoles. Each system will
feature a controller in all three colors; Blue, Green, and Red. Some of
the cool features include the PS3 controller now has a button layout
that almost mocks the Xbox 360 button/analog stick layout. The Wii
lightchuck has a retractable cord that matches the color of the LED's
inside and the Wii remote’s buttons are modified slightly for a better
grip and relaxed feel. All are made out of polycarbonate plastic which
house colored circuit boards and LED's.
The AFTERGLOW line will be available to purchase at the end of
April.
