Why does this headset not actually plug-in to my afterglow controller, will only plug-in to my MS wireless controller, this should be on the package as REQUIRED.

I just bought this product from a local store, spent a while searching for it. I wanted it for two reasons: 1-my previous headset had stopped working; 2-I wanted it to match my controller. Come to find out, that this product is not compatible with the AX.1 controller, at least not the older ones, I'm not sure about the latest model of the controller though. It should be said on the box that it cannot connect to older editions of the AX.1 controller.

Hi there! How ya doing? Good? Oh that's wonderful! Oh me, well I've been better. You see, I was having a pretty good day today; went shopping, got me an Afterglow headset to go with my Afterglow controller, got home, got all excited about using it and everything... ...then I discovered something. Something that just boggles my fucking mind. I mean, I seriously cannot believe that ANYONE would be this retarded. THE FUCKING HEADSET DOESN"T WORK WITH THE FUCKING CONTROLLER!!! I mean, are you fucking KIDDING ME??? You design two separate products for the same system and you don't make them compatible with each other? Whoever the fuck decided that was a good idea should be fired, black listed, and forced to wear a sign around their neck declaring their utter and total lack of cerebral function. What am I saying? I'm dealing with complete retards here!!! Let me spell it out for you in terms any moron can understand: YOU PEOPLE ARE FUCKING IDIOTS!!! What kind of brainless fucks run a company that makes products that don't work together? I mean a fucking TWO YEAR OLD knows that this is ridiculously and entirely...You know what, there really isn't a word to describe either the level of stupidity this shows or the level of utter dumbfounded rage I'm feeling right now. So how about you get your people off their asses and get them working on products that can ACTUALLY WORK TOGETHER LIKE ANY SANE PERSON WITH A BRAIN IN THEIR SKULL RUNNING A COMPANY SHOULD ALREADY KNOW TO DO!!!! Anyway, I think I've made my point. You have a nice day now :)

My headset wasn't compatible with my AX.1 as well, but I was given a new AX.1 for free by PDP for the issue. All I had to do was call customer service. ;)

HI , EVERYBODY! :-) Just came from the Wal-Mart store and saw this After-Pow headset for $18. The glowing thing should be cool but the illuminated part is ON YOUR EAR area WHERE YOU DON't SEE IT! Duh! The majority of the gamers here will be one players so who the heaven is gonna be in the room to see your EAR glowing?! Anywho-- i plug the headset into the XBoX 360 controller , check the push button mute red light-up : check, reset the controller AND the 360 and the STUCKING thing does no t WORK AT ALL! Don't hear anything NOTHING!! NO noise no low muffled sound coming from the headset in this original 360 controller! FRICK! I will wait an hour and recharge my batteries to see if MAYBE they are low and conserving controller usage by automatically not powerin gthe mic. THIS BETTER frickin' work! 11:30 p.m.

The fuckin stupid ass headset doesn't even work. At first it did I bought two of them the first one just gave out and only had it for about 2 weeks and then went to buy another and the new one turns my FUCKIN controller off in a middle of a match in COD 3. Well thats just great. Fix your shit! WTF!
