There is a little over one week left till the National Mortal Kombat
Tournament in Las Vegas and it’s going to be big! Just as a reminder
registration closes on Monday, May 9th 2011.
This means if you are participating in the tournament you must get your
entry in prior to that time.
No late
entries will be accepted, period. PDP has exclusive rates at
Bally’s Casino for $100 a night ($50 on Sunday). You can get these great
rates through our tournament page at
www.PDPTournaments.com.
Make
sure you book your rooms soon, they are filling up fast!
This weekend we will be having a promotion at
Insert Coin(s) in Las Vegas in
preparation for the Tournament. Come by and play with some of the guys
from PDP on the new Mortal Kombat Fight Stick to earn raffle tickets for
several Fight Sticks to be given away throughout Friday May 6 &
Saturday May 7 at 7pm – 11pm.
Even if you aren’t fighting in the tournament there will be all sorts of
interesting happenings during the event. We will be offering a large
projection screen for highlighted & streamed matches within the
hall. Seating will be available in front of the screen/stage area. Free
play areas will be set up with our new Versus Fighting Pads as well as
some practice areas for Tournament fighters. We will be giving away some
Mortal Kombat Fight Sticks during the event and Ed Boon will be making a
special appearance. If that wasn’t enough, something very special will
be making its debut during the Tournament, so come out and get in on the
action!
After the closing fight on Saturday night, please join us over at Insert
Coin(s) on Freemont St for some drinks and video game fun (this is a
bar, 21+). Insert Coin(s) is a video lounge and game bar that caters to
gamers, to learn more please visit their website.
